FIENDISH ART: MONSTER SQUAD

Halloween week keeps rolling along and to commemorate the start of the Halloween weekend here are two pieces from one of my favorite Halloween flicks, Monster Squad! The art is by friend of the Fiend, Dezi Sienty! Check out his fantastic work here and here!

FIENDISH ART: TRICK R' TREAT

If you've never seen Trick R' Treat, you are doing yourself a disservice. It's a fantastic piece of Halloween cinema. Check out my review here, but first feast your eyes on a Trick R' Treat related piece from Corey Breen!

FIENDISH ART: HALLOWEEN STYLE

So, it's no secret I'm a slacker, but since I have a bunch of movie-related sketches piling up on my hard drive, why not post them for you FIENDS? Fans and friends, FIENDS all, may have seen them before but they may be new for some FIENDS.

FIENDISH ART: INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL

I've been kinda itching to see this again. From Corey Breen:

FIENDISH ART: WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

3 days of Corey art! Thanks to Mr. Breen for all of his great pieces!

FIENDISH ART: THE GOLDEN COMPASS

This movie was better than I thought it would be, and I mean who doesn't like warrior polar bears?! Especially when drawn by Corey Breen!

FIENDISH ART: 300

Two 300 pencil pieces from friend of the Fiend Corey Breen!

FIENDISH ART: GODZILLA

Expanding on the Fiendish Art category, here's some concept art from Legendary Pictures' forthcoming Godzilla movie...wait...excuse...EXCUSE ME?! NEW GODZILLA MOVIE?! FROM LEGENDARY F'N PICTURES?! How the heck did I not know about this?! For the most part these guys have produced fantastic movie after fantastic movie, and they have the Big G on their slate! And this art is pretty spot-on! For all us G-Fans, I say Hurrah!

FIENDISH ART: AVATAR

By Mr. Corey Breen:

FIENDISH ART: ICONS OF HORROR

FIENDISH ART: PIN

Art from a good friend of the site, Marco DiLeonardo. Mr. DiLeonardo is an accomplished artist who lends his considerable talent to a piece based on a 1988 movie called Pin. I have never heard of this film, but reading up on it's IMDB it sounds rather strange and horrific. Marco recommends it, so that's usually a good sign. Enjoy the piece, and make sure to give Marco's work a check here and here.

FIENDISH ART: BILL MURRAY

FIENDISH ART: RANDOM SCI-FI

Sal said I should post this, so here is some random Sci-fi love.

Woops. I forgot to sign it.

FIENDISH ART: DRACULA AD 1972

From one of my favorite fun Hammer Horror films--Dracula A.D. 1972--Stephanie Beacham. I loved the style of this movie, the women and their hair are just great. Super sexy and in need of sketching…here's the aftermath…

FIENDISH ART: AVATAR

We've decided to open up the Fiendish Art segment to some of our friends. One of the regular illustrators will be Corey Breen. Corey is a Senior Pre-Press Artist at DC Comics, and Freelance Illustrator. Check out his work here and here!

His first piece is of a Na'vi warrior from Avatar. Enjoy!

FIENDISH ART: DAWN OF THE DEAD 1978

I enjoyed Steve's Land of the Dead zombie so much, I figured I would follow the George Romero zombie theme with my cartoonish take of Stephen from the original Dawn of the Dead, otherwise known as "Flyboy". He made an awesome zombie. Much cooler than when he was alive. Gotta love them zombies.

ANNOUNCING FIENDISH ART! LAND OF THE DEAD

Consider this the debut of a new regular feature on the Fiend: FIENDISH ART! Some of us here at FLIX FIEND create art for a living or for fun and many times are inspired by some of our favorite flix. So, we are going to start sharing them with you, whether it's a sketch or finished piece. Here's one from Land of the Dead. Give us some feedback about our new feature too!
