FIENDISH FOOTAGE: THUNDERCATS?!

Apparently the WB was to make a Thundercats CG movie. It didn't happen, but there was some footage created. Give it a check:

FIENDISH FOOTAGE: EINDHIRAN (THE ROBOT)

Ant should get the credit for this one as he emailed to me yesterday. it's insane sci-fi action from Bollywood. It's long, but so insane-o!

FIENDISH FOOTAGE: SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO!

Check out 5 minutes of footage for the latest Japanese Blockbuster! I can't wait to check this out myself!

FIENDISH FOOTAGE: GREEN LANTERN

The trailer is about to be released, but this footage from Entertainment Tonight has been circulating. What do you think?

NEWS FIEND: DARKCHYLDE MOVIE

News came this week that John Carpenter's Storm King Productions has teamed with Darkchylde Entertainment and Weta Workshop to bring Randy Queen's Darkchylde comic to the big screen. The Horror Master himself will direct the film adapation, which should be interesting as his latest flick, The Ward, has yet to be released. Weta and Queen have put together some test footage that looks really good, though! Check it out below, but be warned this is ADULT MATERIAL.

Also released was this rather cool teaser poster. Everyone aboard this project seems to be amped up about it, and I have to hand to Queen, this is his baby and he's stuck with it, so to have Carpenter and Weta attached must be a dream come true. Cheers to a fellow comic book brother!

FIENDISH FOOTAGE: GODZILLA'S 56TH BIRTHDAY!

For those that don't know, today is Godzilla's 56th birthday! To honor that, I'm posting a clip from a Japanese movie called Always Sunset on Third Street 2 that was released a few years back. It's a dream sequence in the film played as Godzilla's attack on Tokyo. It totally shows what the Big G in total CGI could be like, and it is fantastic! So I hope Legendary Pictures was paying attention! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GODZILLA!

FIENDISH FOOTAGE: THE GOON

The Fiend loves it some Goon action, and it's quite amazing to see Eric Powell's work translated so stunningly. Can't wait to see this!

Updated 7/24 with longer footage!

PREDATORS SNEAK PEEK

Not exactly a trailer, but a behind the scenes video showing you some of the first clips of the Predators movie produced and written by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antel. It looks rather cool, and I love the concept and cast. The idea of a Predator dog is rather practical, I really like that. I've always dug Rodriguez's movie-making skills, and his sensibilities jive with mine. The Predator series needed someone like him in charge as the Aliens vs.Predator series didn't quite treat the characters well. The full trailer hits March 18th, but go to the website and check out the sneak peek: http://www.predators-movie.com/
