THIS WEEK'S NETFLIX RELEASES

This is a pretty interesting week for new movies. So, sit back, grab a glass of lemon ginger echincea (y'know to help fight that cold you're getting), make a list, and then head over to Netflix or where ever you rent movies from and start queueing them up!

First, the movie that should be moved right up to #1 is Inglourious Basterds. Not that I've seen it, but it just looked fantastic, is directed by the always entertaining Quentin Tarantino, and stars a Brad Pitt that looks like he's really chewing it up. Look for a review at some point.

Next up, Ang Lee's Woodstock movie Taking Woodstock looks like a fun, over-the-top movie about a guy who sets the Woodstock concert in motion when he donates a concert permit. I still can't forgive Lee for the Hulk, but some of his other movies haven't been bad, and I do appreciate that he tries something different every time out. So, I'm aboard for this one.

On the foreign front, a movie I've been really forward to is the Japanese feature, 20th Century Boys Chapter One. The first movie in a trilogy based on the critically acclaimed and blockbuster manga of the same name. It's about a group of life-long friends who may be the key to stopping the end of the world from happening. Also, as a compliment to her recently released Coco Before Chanel, Ann Fontaine's previous movie The Girl from Monaco has been released in the States.

Also coming out is the Guinea Pig family action/adventure flick, G-Force. I usually have a high tolerance for movies like this, so I'll probably watch it at some point. And finally, there's a new Liam Neeson/Antonio Banderas film out called The Other Man.

For those, and the rest of the list click here. Happy renting!
