Not too much going on this week, but there's a few worth noting:
First off we have MacGruber. The SNL skit starring Will Forte and Krtistin Wiig makes it to the big screen. I love the MacGyveresque skits, but can it hold up on screen? Possibly, the red-band trailers gave it a small glimmer of hope.
Next we have a direct-to-DVD sequel to 30 Days of Night, 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. I've read the source material, and the trailer to this one looks like it does it justice, but still, a direct-to-DVD always gives me slight pause.
This one is not for me, but The Human Centipede has caused a stir since it's release. I won't get into the gory details, but you can go ahead and look it up. I believe Ant even posted a trailer here at the Fiend.
Two others I'll mention: The Oxford Murders and The Last Rites of Ransom Pride. The former has Elijah Wood in the lead, and the latter is a pretty crazy looking western.
Happy renting!
